Ministry is My Second Career
For more than 30 years, I worked in the public relations, media relations and marketing field. I served some of the largest names in corporate America, from Exxon Mobil to Johnson & Johnson, Merrill Lynch and Coca Cola.
I bring significant leadership experience to my ministry. For example, I have managed staff as large as 40 people and have been responsible for planning and monitoring organizational or departmental budgets ranging between $200,000 to $2 million annually.
I have worked with local, national and international media all over the world and know how to build reporter relationships, write editorial opinion pieces and work with video to garner attention and visibility for an issue or an organization. I hope to leverage my skills in this area to help increase the visibility and reach of our faith, and of whatever church community I serve.
For more information about my prior work experience and how it supports my ministry, including the work I have done in conflict and change management, please read my ministerial record, available from the Transitions Office of the UUA, or by clicking here.
